Commonly referred to as a soap-bar P-90 pickup cover, this cover has been used for decades to house P-90 pickups in guitars like the Gibson¨ Les Paul¨ and SG¨. Mounting screws travel through the center of the pickup/cover and mount directly to the body of the instrument with no need for pickguard or mounting rings. This is not a metal cover. It is plastic with an electroplated finish applied to it. It does offer some shielding benefits, aside from the cosmetic apprearance. Mounting screws not included.
